I came across Steve, the owner of the 427, years ago looking for a replacement motor for my SS 396. I myself am a chevy head as I own two 68 elco's, one reg elco and the other a true SS396 El Co. I wouldn't come in here and conjur up a story about this 427-4 speed El Co. He is a retired GM engineer and was a race car driver (now retired) as well. ![]() The seller has become a good friend of mine for a number of years now. ![]()
